Personalised fertility
nutrition support
This page is for women looking for personalised nutrition support while trying to conceive or preparing for fertility treatment.
The Fertility Consultation is a dedicated fertility nutrition appointment with me, Imogen Schels, Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr). It combines a detailed review of your health, nutrition and fertility journey with personalised recommendations tailored to you.
To talk through where you are and whether this feels like the right next step, I offer a free 15-minute intro call, which I always recommend before booking a consultation.
What’s included in the Fertility Consultation
£210 | 75 minutes + 30-minute follow-up
This appointment helps you understand how nutrition and lifestyle may support your overall wellbeing before or during fertility treatment, or while trying to conceive.
Many women only begin looking more closely at nutrition once they’ve already started trying to conceive. The Fertility Consultation provides practical, personalised support wherever you are in the process.
Before we meet, you’ll be asked to complete a health questionnaire and 3-day food diary. I’ll review these in advance so we can use our time together to focus on what matters most.
Included:
Pre-consultation review of your health questionnaire and 3-day food diary
75-minute in-depth consultation exploring your health history, nutrition, lifestyle and fertility journey
Personalised guidance on nutrition, key nutrients, supplements (where appropriate) and lifestyle factors to support fertility
A detailed written fertility nutrition plan with practical, evidence-based recommendations tailored to you
30-minute follow-up consultation to review progress, answer questions and adapt your plan where needed
What to expect
We’ll look at your diet, lifestyle, symptoms and fertility context to understand where you are in your journey, what your priorities are, and where nutrition support may be most useful.
Understand where you are now
Whether you’re trying naturally or preparing for treatment, we’ll focus on realistic ways to support nourishment, meal structure, key nutrients and day-to-day consistency without adding unnecessary overwhelm.
Practical fertility nutrition guidance
The advice you receive is built around you — including your routine, preferences, challenges, health history, fertility treatment context, symptoms, goals and timeline.
Support tailored to your journey
We’ll agree on a few starting goals, so you know what to focus on first. After your appointment, you’ll receive your personalised report and we’ll agree the best timing for your included follow-up.
Clear goals and next steps
Frequently asked questions
-
Fertility Focus includes a 75-minute consultation, completed after I’ve reviewed a health questionnaire and a 3-day food diary (completed by you) in advance.
Following your consultation, you’ll receive a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan outlining key areas of focus, practical next steps, meal and lifestyle suggestions, and supportive recommendations tailored to your needs.
A 30-minute follow-up check-in is also included and can take place via email or call, depending on what feels most helpful for you.
I always recommend booking a free intro call before arranging Fertility Focus so we can talk through where you are and whether the consultation feels like the right fit for you.
-
Yes — the food diary is an important part of the process.
It helps me understand your current eating patterns, nutrient intake, routines and any potential gaps before trying to conceive or starting fertility treatment.
This means your consultation can be much more personalised and practical.
-
After your consultation, you’ll receive a detailed report designed to give you practical, realistic support moving forward.
Depending on your needs, this may include:
areas to focus on
nutrition and lifestyle recommendations
meal ideas and simple adaptations
supplement considerations
supportive routines and action points
The goal is to give you something clear, manageable and easy to refer back to in your own time.
-
We decide this together at the end of your consultation.
Some people prefer earlier follow-up support, while others choose to wait a little longer, depending on treatment timelines, appointments or personal preference.
-
All consultations take place online via video call.
Many clients find this much easier to fit around work, fertility appointments and everyday life. It also means you can attend from the comfort of your own home without needing to travel to another appointment.
-
No — Fertility Focus is suitable whether you’re simply thinking about trying to conceive, trying to conceive naturally or preparing for fertility treatment such as IVF.
